RECARO’s children’s car restraint launch at Nissan Motorsport’s Garage

On Thursday 13 October our client, RECARO, launched their new children’s car seat range at Nissan Motorsport’s racing garage here in Melbourne.

Attendees included Kidsafe Victoria’s CEO Melanie Courtney, Director of the Australian Child Restraint Resource Initiative, Rob Newman, team Nissan V8 Supercar Driver Michael Caruso, General Manager of Nissan Motorsport Nick Ryan, Onya Magazine, Channel Nine News and mummy bloggers Baby, Beauty and Beyond and NJT Blogger.

The launch was an amazing interactive experience for guests to be a part of as it included a range of interactive and educational points about the importance of children’s car safety as well as a tour of Nissan Motorsport’s garage. It was interesting to watch the V8 cars getting repaired after Bathurst and ready for the next race the following week.

As the racing industry relies so heavily on RECARO to protect their professional drivers, it was an amazing experience for guests to be able to put the children’s car safety into perspective against industry professionals.

The morning included an interactive tour of the Nissan Motorsport’s garage, watching the team prepare for their next race on the Gold Coast. And the Nissan race car simulation was a hit among the guests, for both children and adults.

RECARO’s new children’s restraint range will provide the ultimate protection for the smallest passengers, as it protects professional drivers of one of the world’s most dangerous sports today. The entire range will be available for purchase in Australia later this month!
