What do you include in an EPK (Electronic Press Kit)?

Your EPK (electronic press kit) is the document that has the important information in one PDF and can be used for any type of meeting and media. This document should be on-brand with your poster design and theme/vibe of your film. Use an array of stills and images to provide the visuals and information.

The sections should include:

  • Front page
  • Key information (release date, writer, director, cast, producer composer, cinematographer, run time)
  • Synopsis – short and long
  • Director’s Statement
  • About the Cast section > one page per actor, and it includes a photo and bio. We would advise including pronouns.
  • About the Crew > one page per person, and it includes a photo and bio. We would advise including pronouns.
  • Credits – hyperlink to your IMDb or to a Word document with ALL credits as it appears on the screen
  • Connect with Us – Your social media handles and hyperlink to the pages
  • Contact page – this is usually the publicist’s details
