Ivana Chubbuck Featured in The Daily Telegraph for the Sydney Masterclass
Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck's return to Australia received a major mainstream media spotlight in The Daily Telegraph online and Saturday Telegraph on August 8, 2026.
The Sydney Confidential feature, written by Zara Powell, explored the deeply personal approach behind Ivana's work with some of Hollywood's biggest names and how she teaches actors to transform their experiences into powerful storytelling. The photo was captured by Samuel Ruttyn.
Ivana told the Daily Telegraph that major stars have trusted her with experiences they haven't shared elsewhere—not simply to explore them, but to find a way to use them creatively. The feature also highlighted the reason for Ivana's return to Australia after one decade away. She was in town for a four-day Sydney masterclass presented as the first major international event from the newly launched Acting Mastery Academy, founded by award-winning Australian filmmakers Benjamin and Holly-Anna Mathews. The masterclass was presented in collaboration with Kate Jaggard of Actors Room Byron Bay, a certified Chubbuck Technique teacher who trained under Ivana in Los Angeles and was instrumental in bringing her mentor back to Australia.
Together, the collaboration brought Ivana's internationally renowned training directly to Australian actors, while the acting schools' broader mission is to give their local talent greater access to world-class training and international industry connections without automatically having to relocate within Australia or overseas.
